Tucked away in the Adelaide Hills lies the True Heart of Uraidla Villa and Studio.
Located in the absolute centre of Uraidla. Our special place is close to everything. 50 metres from the Uraidla Hotel.
The True Heart of Uraidla is a luxurious bolthole, where you can be part of the excitement.
Extensively renovated and modernised, the studio or villa accommodation is perfect for your getaway in the Hills.

You immediately feel welcomed when walking through the door of the Studio, with the timber beams, traditional plaster and exposed stone radiating plenty of rustic charm.
Beautifully renovated property with stone bench tops and brass tapware, filtered water, quality cabinetry and hand made dining table and chairs, this is a well appointed property.
It is an open plan studio, with a queen bed, large Sony Smart TV and private en-suite.
While our studio doesn’t include an oven and stovetop, every other convenience has been thoughtfully provided including microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge.
There is a Daikin reverse cycle heating & cooling unit and subfloor heating.
The original structure on this site dates from Uraidla’s earliest days. It was a two room dwelling that the Uraidla Hotel publican and local builder Edmund Wilcox built onto in the 1890’s. He transformed the old building into a stately villa by adding a large sitting room with bay window, a main bedroom and verandah. As a result the old front doorway is in the middle of the house and the rustic charm of the rear two rooms contrasts with the more modern 130 year old addition at the front.
Recently completely renovated into a three bedroom luxurious Uraidla experience ideal as wedding accommodation with the married couple in the studio and friends or family in the villa.
The original building on this site dates from the earliest days of the township of Uraidla. It was originally a two-room dwelling, until Uraidla Hotel publican and builder Edmund Wilcox added two rooms, with bay window and verandah, to the front in the 1890s to create a police station(now the Villa) for the township. As a result, the original front doorway is still in the middle of the house. It remained in use until the purpose built station in nearby Summertown opened in 1909. The police lockup cells(now the Studio) were built as part of this renovation. These buildings were used as the accommodation for the “Uraidla Aristologist” restaurant located next door in the 1980s into the 1990s.
